This page takes you to the PDF file that describes how to work around a Canon MF5000 series printer that has decided that the page you just printed is the wrong size.
The file is here.
The piece of information you need is that the “Job Monitor” or “Status Monitor” button is the one to the far left of the main control panel.
The process is: Status Monitor (displays “Copy Status”), then using the right arrow button, cycle through the options until “Print Status”, OK, OK again to delete the job. If there was only one, “No Print Job Exists” is displayed, which means you have successfully deleted the offending job. Then, to restart the printer, open the front cover as if you were replacing the toner cartridge, leave it open for 5 seconds & close it again.
