Wednesday 1: Still catching up. It’s been a battle!
Julie suggested that being stuck here without a job would be a golden opportunity to go home to Australia for a while and catch up with family and friends. And so it started. I have interspersed doing a few household tasks with studying travel options and making some of the essential bookings. The focus is the East coast, starting with a flight via Vancouver to Melbourne and some time with Paul’s family in Ballarat, then via friends in Canberra and on via Sydney to friends along the coast, and finally via Brisbane to Dorothy in Pittsworth and the return flight from Brisbane via Hawaii.
The rest of the month was pretty blurry. I selected the Forth of July as my departure date so that I could remember it.
The weird looking foot brace does at least move the left foot to almost hold it straight.
