Today in 1979, Skylab re-entered the atmosphere over Western
Australia.
New definition of frustration: A 52k connection, uploading
beautifully, no-one wanting the line to make phone calls, & the battery runs
out while the power is still off.
Today was full steam ahead on project work. Tiling on the
kitchen floor is almost complete. New panels in the walls, replacing rotted
ones, have been fitted & undercoated.
Our resident Kiwi, Ryan, had arranged earlier in the week with
Timson, that between them, they would put on a hungi for Sunday night dinner.
Yesterday we hired a car & they collected a live pig & put it in the
boot! (Yes Julie, that's the trunk). So we had over 100 guests from Scouts, Girl
Guides & Pathfinders, plus our new doctor friends, for dinner & a campfire. Great fun & a very
late night.
