Today is American Independence Day, although most of the celebrations in the US will be tomorrow, our time. Chris was part of the party swimming in the local river when he was bitten by a stone fish. Of course, the absolutely best cure for a stonefish bite is to pee on it. Andrew bravely volunteered to provide some urine for the purpose, much to the hilarity of all concerned. Our "lost" Venturer rejoined us from Brisbane at about 4 am this morning. Georg, Rex scored the "Backyard Blitz" award for working in a iron lung. Went to church. Several of the adults had lunch at the Yacht Club & did heaps of networking with the locals in the process. Helped the local Scouts build their watch tower for upcoming Trade Fair.
